Linking Israeli Startups to Entrepreneurs who know your Market

Link-IL helps Israeli startups connect with US market experts in order to shorten Time To Market.  To apply, startups submit a one-page overview including their stage, target market, funding, and goals. Startups that are admitted to the program will receive periodic meetings with their consultants-connectors at a pace decided by both sides.

הפורום הישראלי ליזמות - EFI
(לשעבר פורום MIT ליזמות בישראל) הוא הגוף האיכותי, הוותיק והמקצועי בישראל לקידום ותמיכה ביזמות טכנולוגית. 
הפורום הינו ארגון ללא מטרות רווח, אשר הוקם בשנת 1978 ע”י בוגרי MIT (בישראל החל ב-1994).

העמותה מבצעת פעילויות המסייעות לחיזוק סקטור ההייטק הישראלי, באופן ישיר או עקיף, במספר אופנים, כולל יצירת חשיפה גלובלית לחברות ישראליות, ייעוץ ישיר לחברות סטארט-אפ בנושאים של בנייה, אסטרטגיה עסקית,  צמיחה, היבטים פיננסיים, וחיזוק הקשרים עם לקוחות קיימים ועתידיים.

Thanks to the 2020 MIT She entrepreneur accelerator, I went through two major pivots. One is business-wise and the other is personal. I realized that I’ve been presenting and storytelling my business in the wrong manner. In addition, with the new tools I gained, I was able to pivot my business model, identify my real market, first users and assess the initially expected revenues. I truly believe that now, with my new pitch, We will finally succeed in fundraising.

I have participated in MIT enterprise Israel & the American Embassy - 2020 She entrepreneur program. The program you designed gave us in a short time a glance into most aspects of our responsibilities. It was presented most professionally & friendly. Participating in an MIT company review is not only a great consulting opportunity, but also a PR opportunity, especially since expert panels are always composed of industry leaders and luminaries, and attendance is typically high. When I presented Mysticom at the Forum, we had Kamran Elahian and Avigdor Willenz on the panel. I received great business advice, as well as good publicity. Foreign investors were present and that led to a few real contacts

Following a recommendation made by Ofakim Incubator CEO Yoram HaLevy, OmniVee participated in a MIT Forum brainstorming session organized by the Forum's Executive Director, Ayla Matalon. The Forum proposed a list of relevant potential consultants, and ended up building a well-balanced panel which included Dr. Shlomo Kalish, Founding Partner of Jerusalem Global Ventures, and Yoav Avtalion, Co-founder of NICE. The meeting was short and focused. Omnivee ended up having its downside very explicitly put, and benefited from a few key suggestions for the best course of action. Thanks to the turnaround suggested on the brainstorming session, the company was sold, within 12 months, at a valuation 10 times the investments made.
